Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE)

Introduction

Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) is the 100% State Owned Enterprise and is responsible for Upstream Petroleum Sub-sector.
It has four basic responsibilities :

I.	To explore oil and gas by conducting geological and geophysical surveys and exploit oil and gas by its own resources
II.	To supply the required natural gas to various factories and gas turbines by construction of its gas supply pipelines network;
III.	To supply Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a substitute fuel of gasoline for transportation vehicles
IV.	To cooperate with foreign oil companies by signing the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for Onland and offshore blocks for early monetization of Petroleum resources of Myanmar;
